How to boost productivity while studying?

During the peak time of an examination, every learner tends to be productive. The inclination towards hard work, the effort is a peak at the exam hour. To be productive one spends more time on studies and it is obvious. One must note that spending quality time on study and learning process is more important than quantity of time. To be productive and efficient one has to be proactive. Only the results do not matter while the process has undergone while studying also plays an important role in studies. In this article, we will throw some light on ways of being productive while studying.

Stay organised

A disciplined and organised lifestyle is a must for each and every one. Staying organised does not mean organising things in one’s surroundings. Staying organised indicates being neat and proper all the time. One can stay organised always by maintaining a proper routine, keeping back things at the dedicated and desired place where it belongs to. For instance, prior to the study one has to keep ready all the study materials ready rather than searching during the course of study which leads to distraction and wastage of time.

Know what to study

Everyone must plan out the day, list out the things to do and also know the subjects and concepts that one is going to study for the day. Knowing what to study helps in keeping our minds fixed to that particular topic and also keeps us motivated. One must choose the chapter that is to be learnt at first, instead of opening the book and wondering what to study for the day. One must make up his mind and start the task on time rather than thinking about which task is to be completed. If one wishes to solve lakhmir Singh and manjit kaur solutions then the student can start solving at the desired time and focus on it. This avoids the unnecessary time being wasted on choosing the tasks.

Noting and learning

Learning and note-making go hand in hand while studying and is an essential practice to be productive. The notes making structure varies subject to another. The notes must be attractive and simpler rather than long essays as it helps to grasp the subject knowledge easily. The notes must be in the form of a table, graphs, flow chart etc. The making of notes depends on the subject and the concept that one is studying. The note-making process also depends on the learning style of the student whether the learner is visual, auditory, reading and writing, or kinesthetic learner.

Let the learning process be fun

We all know that after studying for a few minutes or an hour it sounds boring. One can make the learning process fun by doing some activities such as solving maths puzzles in between the long study hour of biology. Switching from one subject to another for a few minutes relaxes the brain and mimd get activated again. When one is bored of reading lots of chemical reactions then one can switch to solve questions from lakhmir singh class 10 book and then again jump to chemistry subject. In this manner, the time is saved and also one feels energetic.

Short breaks are mandatory

Studying for too long on a particular topic can be boring. The concentration on the study gets diminished. A tiny break of five to ten minutes after every forty-five minutes of study is mandatory. A stretch, a short walk, listening to the favourite song, talking to others relives the mimd as well as the body. Digital attractions such as mobiles, television and laptops must be avoided during this tiny break as it consumes a lot of time and deviates the mind from the peaceful study mode.

We all know that productiveness in the learning process is very vital. The maintenance of proper time, schedule and routine are mandatory for every student. A perfect schedule, disciplined lifestyle, quality time of study and learning the concepts with thorough understanding will definitely yield good results in academics and to achieve goals.
